CAD Trust is delighted to introduce the newly defined role of CEO and Executive Director. This role is based in Singapore and is open to full-time or meaningful part-time (3/4+ days/week) candidates, based on best mutual fit.

The role is a key part of the transition toward a permanent governance model supported by an operationally independent and sustainably funded Secretariat.

To contribute to the scaling of high-integrity carbon markets, CAD Trust’s key medium term objectives and priorities are:

  • Promoting data harmonization and interoperability in carbon markets with clear leadership. This involves contributing to standardization of carbon credit data models and enabling applications in international credit tracking and accounting, including in the context of carbon market integration into financial markets.
  • Supporting informed decision-making through improving access to information on key credit attributes. This will also encompass exploring infrastructure uses for integrity checks (e.g., double counting, policy or other scheme eligibility, etc)
  • Supporting policymakers and regulators with data management related to carbon markets, including registry interoperability and capacity building initiatives. This will require the candidate to foster senior engagements at the country level for deeper connections and visibility.

Applications will be considered on a rolling basis over Q2 2025. Interested candidates are encouraged to apply using this link: https://internationalemissionstradingassociation.applytojob.com/apply/D7TPru3T0U/CEO-And-Executive-Director-Climate-Action-Data-Trust
