For carbon markets to scale, the systems that hold carbon credit data must be connected. 

The registries, government programmes, and reporting frameworks holding this data were never designed to work together. CAD Trust coordinates and convenes the actors behind these systems and builds the connections between them.

We operate a neutral data platform, where registries and crediting programmes publish data directly. We are working towards a common data standard, and developing shared interoperability protocols for countries, crediting programmes and projects that wish to connect. Our software and data model are recognised as a digital public good.
